Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you sign in, we receive an account identifier, name, and email address from the authentication service. When you import a test, we store the test number and performance metadata needed for your dashboard, such as question type, whether an answer was correct, difficulty, and time when available.

Your uploaded PDF is read in your browser. LSAT Lens does not store the original PDF or the text of test questions. We store only the extracted performance information required to produce your analytics.

If you request a beta spot, we store the email address you submit. If you submit a review, we store your rating, review text, chosen public display name, publication permission, and moderation status. Reviews appear publicly only after your express consent and owner approval; your email and test data are never displayed with the review.

For subscribers, we store a PayPal subscription identifier, subscription status, billing-consent timestamp, and access dates. PayPal processes your payment credentials; LSAT Lens does not receive or store your complete card or bank details.

Free report preview

The free analysis page processes your LawHub score-report PDF in your browser without an account. The PDF, question results, and calculated preview are not uploaded or saved to our servers. Refreshing or closing the page clears the preview. We record anonymous aggregate counts of preview visits, analysis attempts, successes, failures, and signup clicks, without the report contents, results, or file name.

How we use information

We use your information to authenticate your account, import and categorize your results, calculate progress analytics, operate subscriptions, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.

First-party conversion analytics

LSAT Lens records anonymous aggregate counts for important product events, such as landing-page views, trial-button clicks, account creations, test imports, subscription approvals, and completed payments. These counts help us understand where the signup experience needs improvement.

We do not place third-party advertising trackers or include names, email addresses, test results, or visitor identifiers in the owner analytics report. The site uses short-lived browser session storage only to avoid counting the same page view repeatedly during one visit.

Service providers and disclosure

Information is processed by providers that help operate LSAT Lens, including Supabase for secure email-and-password authentication, OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure for the application and progress database, PayPal for subscriptions and payments, and a form-notification provider that delivers beta and review notices to the LSAT Lens owner. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information or use your test-performance data for third-party behavioral advertising.

Retention and deletion

Account and performance information is retained while your account remains open. You can permanently delete your account and imported history from the dashboard. Deletion also attempts to stop future PayPal charges before removing your records. Limited security logs or backups may remain temporarily where required for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or system recovery.

Your choices

You may review your dashboard, replace an imported test, cancel your subscription, or delete your account online. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information. Applicable privacy laws may provide additional rights depending on where you live.

Security and age

We use access controls and encrypted connections designed to protect your information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. LSAT Lens is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
